Stibnite - radiating flower form (Ref: 6.2-367)

Flower-form Stibnite in a radiating cluster of metallic crystals on a shard of matrix. From the find in Nandan in 2006, this is similar to an older find in Romania but slightly different on close exam. There is minimal matrix here just some shards of white Quartz that set off the darker metallic blades of Stibnite. Overall this has good luster but some of the individual crystals have some tiny pitting which gives a more matte finish. Excellent display impact most crystals are terminated some with prism tips others with a more jagged end. There is some damage seen by loupe exam but overall the condition is very good especially for this delicate mineral. These have not been found for many years, now they are a modern classic.
