Bright, apple-green Vesuvianite crystal that is doubly terminated and has glassy lustrous faces. The crystal is complete all around and undamaged, fully translucent with some spots of transparency. There are a few small sidecar crystals that have some spots that are contacted and recrystallized on those edges, this is not seen without magnification. One termination is a deeper more emerald green color than the other. Overall a choice Vesuvianite from the famed Jeffrey Quarry, the only place on earth that ever produced Vesuvianite of this vivid color. From: Well-Arranged Molecules
