A superb rosette crystal cluster of Graphite standing on matrix. At 1.1 cm across and with bright metallic luster this is a killer thumbnail in fine condition. Magnification finds one tiny edge contact but for this delicate mineral this is in amazing condition. Textbook form, and with fine esthetics, Graphite is not a rare mineral but well formed lustrous crystals are very rare. From finds in the late seventies, an excellent US classic specimen.
