Rich red color Corundum crystal that is crude but complete and translucent throughout. Burmese (Mogok) Rubies are the most valued Ruby in the world and very few crystal specimens are available. This is a complex crystal with some etching (looks "melted" in spots) and recrystallization. Looks good on all sides, this is a sizable 24.5 Carat stone.From: Well-Arranged Molecules
