Ex. Ernie Schlichter. Bornite is not a rare mineral but in good crystals it is is super rare! The best have come from Kahzakstan, and this is an esthetic and above average example with sharp crystals reaching 2.3 CM on contrasting matrix. Displays great with excellent patina of Blue-Black-Silver hues. By naked eye the condition is quite fine, there are chips found with magnification and typical hairline cracks are noted as seen in the photos. This is in great condition overall for such a delicate mineral, and very attractive for this usually drab specie!From: Well-Arranged Molecules
