A very unusual and significant US specimen, a sizable cabinet piece with excellent color and form from this little known locale. Ex John Marshall collection, John's collection catalog notes that he has only ever seen 3 specimens from this location, this being the best. The deep green Conichalcite is composed of small balls with bright "wet" luster that are offset on the lighter colored Hemimorphite. With magnification it seems there may also be some Aurichalcite on this specimen but that is not confirmed. A fine display piece that is as good as any US Conichalcite from anyplace. Better in person.
