One of the most desirable rare minerals from Ojuela, Legrandite well displayed in a radiating burst of distinctive yellow. This is filling a shallow pocket in the gossan matrix,2.8 CM across. Several prismatic crystals are complete here but there are several broken ones too (Legrandite is especially brittle and and there are almost no specimens of any size without some damage). Despite the damage this is still well above average. None has been found for over 20 years now, this is an early piece last sold in the 1970s. From: Well-Arranged Molecules
