Quartz (Japan Law Twinned)

24 Stope, San Pedro Mine, New Placers District, Santa Fe County, New Mexico, USA
minID: LNY-JJD
124mm x 115mm x 63mm
$125
A two-sided plate of quartz crystals from the San Pedro Mine, perhaps best known for notable gold finds in the 1980s. This specimen is littered with Japan law twins - we counted at least 27 on this side, but there are probably more than that! The back features one fairly large twin (3cm across) as well as smaller ones! There are some broken crystals.
