Modified crystals of blue fluorite with a partial calcite coating. The fluorite exhibits a very interesting form with cubes {100} modified by rhombododecahedral faces {110}. In some places, the form is further complicated by a growth interference with a clay that grew preferentially on early rhombododecahedral faces - this has resulted in some edges with 90 degree insets. This particular pocket produced some of the best color in these that has yet been seen. Collected by Phil Simmons and Erin Delventhal, April 2018.
