Hands down, one of the largest specimens of this material that I have encountered. This piece is a significant rarity from Corocoro both from the standpoint of aesthetic appeal and size! Two very good sized, thick, blocky, pseudo-hexagonal crystals of Copper replacing Aragonite are intergrown to create a very three-dimensional display specimen. The specimen is complete on all sides, with sharp, blocky faces and a gorgeous pink, purple and orange iridescent patina. Better in person than the photos might indicate. Keep in mind that virtually all of the specimens from this locality are loose single crystals, and rarely does one find such large intergrown groups like this, even in old collections.
