A stunning specimen of purple and gem adamite var. manganoan adamite from the famous Ojuela Mine, Mexico. A label attests to the piece’s provenance from the renowned collection of John Barlow, thereby enhancing its historical significance and market value. The adamite crystals are with a sharp elongated orthorhombic blade shape. They are from colorless to rich raspberry-purple at the caps. The faces have a strong glassy luster. The crystals are from transclucent to transparent and gem. They form beautiful radial sprays on black goethite base, which gives a strong contrast. In excellent condition. On acrylic base. , Exceptional manganoan adamite!,
