A fine quality thumbnail specimen of gemmy borcarite crystals from a superb recent find in San Bartolo Mine, Charcas, Mexico. Borcarite is a rare calcium magnesium borate and these are among the finest borcarite crystals in the world.  It displays well formed and sharp tabular crystals. They are from translucent to transparent. They are strongly lustrous. The most amazing aspect is the bright blue color. Some other unidentified minerals are seen too. In very good condition – some natural imperfections. On acrylic base., Exceptional!,
