A top quality thumbnail specimen of gem borcarite crystals from a superb recent find in San Bartolo Mine, Charcas, Mexico. Borcarite is a rare calcium magnesium borate and these are among the finest borcarite crystals in the world.  It displays well formed and sharp tabular crystals up to 7mm. They are from translucent to transparent and gem. They are strongly lustrous. The most amazing aspect is the rich bright turquoise-blue color, which is more saturated that the most of the crystals from the find. In excellent condition – back side contact. On acrylic base., Exceptional!,
