Beautiful deep red spray of Kermesite crystals on matrix. These were found in the early 2000s from an unnamed antimony mine in the Damingshan range near the town of Dafeng. This find was one of the most significant ever for Kermesite and most found were loose crystals or small sprays of crystals and not on matrix. The Kermesite crystals here sit aesthetically on matrix. The matrix is covered by the rare mineral Paakkonenite and small yellow crystals of Valentinite.Data last checked on 13th Dec 2025
