Rare colorless Grossular crystals from a small find made in 2018 near Georgetown. The specimens were found in an approximately 3 meter long lens in Serpentine that was completely mined out. These have been analyzed as nearly pure end member Grossular with the crystals occurring in bunches or on massive white Grossular. This specimen features a particularly good 6mm crystal on matrix with other smaller crystals. This deposit is featured in the November-December 2019 Mineralogical Record magazine.Data last checked on 13th Dec 2025
