Amethyst scepter (Ref: R495)

Chibuku Mine, Chiredzi mining district, Masvingo, Zimbabwe
20mm x 8mm x 8mm
$125
Colorless single Quartz crystal scepter with a secondary amethyst grown off the tip of the Quartz crystal. Complete all around and undamaged. Ex. Jon Sigerman collection acquired from the Si and Ann Frazier Quartz collection. This a glassy, lustrous crystal - don't be fooled by the camera that amplified tiny Hematite inclusions under the surface of the Quartz and makes it look somewhat dirty or non-lustrous. In hand all you notice is the glassy luster and amazing geometry.
Data last checked on 8th Oct 2025 - specimen may no longer be available
