A unique specimen and sharp pyrite crystals from this now closed zinc mine, famous for pyrite - Nanisivik Mine, Nunavut Territory, Canada. These polar Canada Pyrites are very distinctive. The crystals are lustrous and shiny with brassy yellow color. They have very unusual habit. On the faces are seen very strange carvings probably result of twinning. It displays attractively on both sides. In very good condition – some small nicks and base part contact.
