A superb quality gemmy lazulite crystals from the famous phosphate deposits of Yukon, Canada. Lazulite is a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate and some of the finest come from this locality. The lazulite crystals to 8mm are sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed, monoclinic, deep indigo blue color. They have gemmy areas with striking blue-green color variations. Some crystals are twinned which is quite uncommon. Some colorless, sharp and pointy quartz crystals are seen too. For references see the 1992 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 23, # 4. In very good condition – some outside edge contacts. On acrylic base., Excellent lazulite crystals!, Data last checked on 17th Jul 2025 - specimen may no longer be available
