A superb and very rare specimen of spinel crystals with diopside and phlogopite from Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada. It displays an attractive cluster of spinel crystals up to 4mm intergrowing with rich tobacco colored phlogopite crystals. The spinels are rounded and well formed with good luster and indigo-blue color. Phlogopite has a good luster and it is translucent. Diopside forms the base.
