Diamond (macle twinned) (Ref: DMND25-20)

Ekati Mine, Lac de Gras, Northwest Territories, Canada
$2000
This is a Diamond (macle twinned) from Ekati Mine, Lac de Gras, Northwest Territories, Canada. A fascinating, totally gem specimen of macle-twinned diamond, showing the classic triangular shape of twins, which are more commonly seen in galenas and spinels and are much rarer in diamond habit, especially given how much diamond rough is cut into gems.
Data last checked on 14th Jun 2025 - specimen may no longer be available
