Microcline (Amazonite?) (Ref: R111)
Klein Spitzkoppe, Erongo Region, Namibia
35mm x 20mm x 10mm
$200
Doubly-terminated Carlsbad twinned Microcline from Klein Spitzkoppe. This is from an old collection and the included label calls it 'Amazonite'. While Amazonite is known from the locality, the light greenish color of this crystal appears to be from Copper-rich green coatings, some of which still remain on the crystal.Data last checked on 30th Jun 2025 - specimen may no longer be available
