Lustrous, sharp Grossular garnet with an unusual dark-peach color, is exposed on skarn matrix. The Grossular measures 26 x 21 x 16 mm, and has a small ding on one tip. This old-time piece is an ex. Karl R. Vossbrinck (1916-2001; The Silver Pick, New York) and R. Corey collection specimen. I purchased it in 1998 from the Lesnicks for my garnet subcollection.ex. Bob Griffis Personal collection
