A superb specimen of kolwezite over richly fuchsia colored dolomite var. cobaltoan dolomite from Kansalawile Mine, Tenke-Fungurume area, Congo - Kinshasa. It displays cobaltoan dolomite crystals densely covering the base. They are with an amazing and vivid fuchsia color. Above are seen green kolwezite clusters with a botryoidal habit. Kolwezite is a rare anhydrous Cu-Co carbonate. Some black mineralization is heterogenite. This is a cool combo of two highly sought-after minerals. Some edges are worked. In very good condition – some contacts., Striking!,
