This is a very excellent specimen with a group of loosely associated Anatase crystals up to 0.6 cm tall. These are crystallized extremely perfect (textbook crystals!) with exceptional precision, a deep brown color and a metallic luster. The Anatase has a tetragonal bipyramidal basic shape with a partially hourglass-shaped habit. As far as I can see with the unaided eye, the Anatase crystals are perfect and undamaged. The back of the specimen is covered with slightly smoky, amber-colored Quartz crystals. An exceptionally good Anatase specimen for the alpine locality Bourg d´Oisans in France, now classic as the piece is from 1975 find.
