Adamite var. Adamite
Lavrion District Mines, Lavrion (Laurion; Laurium) District, Attikí (Attica; Attika) Prefecture, Greece
Very lustrous, blue Al-rich Adamite is perched on a goethite matrix covered with small, rounded, white Calcite crystals. The Adamite consists of individual clusters of crystals to 3.5 mm. Alumino Adamite is very rare from Lavrion. This is a great specimen from the ancient Laurium mining district, from a recent find, with an excellent color. No damage.
