Here we see a rich crystal specimen of rare species Hessite contrastful perched on crystallized Quartz matrix. The area of densely intergrown crystals of this rare gold-telluride is measuring 2,6 cm across. Despite the best Hessite specimens are from Botes, this great Roşia Montană (Verespatak)-Hessite specimen doesn´t have to hide behind them,- and is way more interesting due to its more uncommon origin. Superb, AESTHETIC and nicely contrasted material, almost 150 years old. Exceeding hard to come by nowadays especially in this great quality.
