A large plate of lustrous, gemmy, transparent light-smoky Quartz crystals from the Inyo Mountains, near Crystal Rige. A large doubly-terminated crystal measuring 71 x 20 x 18 mm is accompanied by two large Quartz points with partial Chlorite coating, that are partly contacted, and one of which has a small chip. The bright faces clearly show growth patterns. Collected in 2011 by Chris Lehmann, a well-known California field collector. This is an outstanding example.
