A beautiful specimen of sharp tetrahedral helvine crystals decorating calcite from Huanggang Fe-Sn deposit, Inner Mongolia AR, China. Helvine is a rare silicate. The crystals are waxy lustrous with rich brown color. They sit attractively at the top forming an excellent focal point. White lenticular calcite crystals give a strong contrast. Some damages.
