Superb octahedral hausmannite crystals with garnet var. andradite from the famous Kalahari manganese fields, South Africa. Hausmannite forms sharp, pagoda like structures. The crystals have a black color and strong metallic luster. Small red-brown andradite crystals grow above. The world’s finest hausmannite comes from the Kalahari Manganese Field and this one is a choice specimen. It displays all over 360 degree. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base., Fantastic!,
