This is a Pyrite replacing Ammonite fossil from Kowala Quarry, Kielce County, Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship, Poland. A surprising mineral replacement of fossil, that we had not seen come to market before, turned up in Tucson of 2025: a complete pyrite replacement of an ancient ammonite fossil, from a recently mined locality in Poland.
