Epidote with Calcite and Albite (Ref: JC213)

An exquisite combination specimen of blocky, lustrous-green crystals of Epidote from this classic Austrian locality. A large group of Epidotes measuring 46 x 19 mm is nestled within rhombs of white translucent Calcite to 25 x 16 mm, all resting on a matrix covered with lustrous white Albite crystals to 4 mm accented by numerous Epidote crystals. There is some damage around the margins, but the specimen is otherwise in great condition. Joel purchased this specimen over 20 years ago from Harvey Gordon.
