Quartz (var. Chalcedony) has replaced a Gypsum rose, creating a perfect pseudomorph that retains the form of the original Gypsum. The blades are up to 45 mm across with the typical flattened habit. It has reddish hues and is many translucent areas. This is an ex Dan Belsher specimen, in excellent condition.ex. Bob Griffis (2006) and Don Belsher collections
