Superb gem crystals of Chromian Vesuvianite – the rarest and most desirable color from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The crystals are to 13mm and have grass green color due to Chromium. The crystals are glassy and gem with very lustrous faces. Rare green Vesuvianite from this great now closed mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
