Anatase on Quartz

Many perfect, sharp, well-formed, black doubly-terminated Anatase crystals, to 8 mm, with lustrous faces, are perched atop a matrix accented by small, nearly colorless quartz crystals. Several of the Anatase are gemmy with a nice golden transmitted color, which is not commonly seen in Anatase from Norway. The extremely high luster makes these Anatase very difficult for me to photograph, and they are much nicer than the photos show. Collected by Torgeir Garmo, this is a superb miniature with no damage.
