A sparkling specimen from the type locality and recently described in 2013! It is a complex lead zinc manganese yttrium titanium iron oxide-hydroxide and newest member of the crichtonite group. This large, tabular, gray to black, almost micaceous-looking crystal of almeidaite has well-defined faces and edges. This piece is part of the original find of specimens collected by Luiz Menezes. Ex. Paulo Matioli collection.
