Clinoclase from the USA is far less known than the English specimens and it's not common to find good pieces available for sale. The color of this piece is a rich, deep blue and in the vug, there's a sphere of lustrous clinoclase. From the thumbnail collection of Martin C. Jensen (b. 1959) of Reno, Nevada, USA. He is not only a mineral collector, but an SEM specialist at the Mackay School of Mines, and has contributed multiple studies on localities in the western United States.
