This natural macle-twinned diamond features impressive transparency and a classic adamantine luster that catches light beautifully, even in subtle settings. It is nearly colorless, with a glassy, sparkling appearance that puts its luster at the top of such diamond crystals, creating a special impact when on display - or for use as jewelry in a ring setting. Well-defined crystal faces display sharp ridges and well-defined trigons, adding texture and depth to the specimen’s structure. Note the small triangular outgrowth for accent. Purchased circa 2010 from a source with sightholding rights to diamond parcels, who preserved good crystals for us. 3.25 ct, 9.71 x 9.67 x 3.78mm.
