A large 8.0 x 5.2 cm cluster of intergrown, black pseudocubic crystals of the rare iron phosphate barbosalite. Most commonly observed as small sprinklings on hureulite, this specimen is unique for its coverage. The largest crystals in the cluster rach 4 mm in size which is large for the species. The chemistry was confirmed by us at the University of Texas in Austin. Formerly in the collection of Californian curator Bob Reynolds.
