A very fine cabinet consisting in a massive halite matrix supporting a group of gemmy twinned Selenite crystals up to 3 cm intergrown with small (1 cm) cubic halite. The Selenite has a deep golden yellow natural colour, under long and mid wave length UV light it shows a strong white yellowish fluorescence contrasting with the halites pink fluorescence. A sample not easy to be photographed, the UV pics allow a better evaluation of crystals sharpness and integrity. The UV pics have been taken using a 312 nm source. $103 *
